of Virginia - Department of Human Resources
Management
DHRM used MitemView to integrate their legacy
systems with a new, Web-based application called EmployeeDirect
that allows employees and retirees to access benefits
information on-line. The EmployeeDirect Web site allows
some 120,000 Virginia state employees and retirees access
to their health care and benefits programs and the ability
to make changes to those programs.

Ramsey
County Criminal Justice
Ramsey County
wanted to provide comprehensive and more timely information
to the State of Minnesota. Users needed a logical view
of the information without knowing or caring which system
it resided in or how to get it. Improving accuracy and
reducing the time and effort County employees spent
entering redundant data across several systems and eliminating
subjective judgments from the process were also key
objectives.

Aircraft Industries
Vought's goal was to create greater efficiencies in
process planning by reducing the number of screens a
planner had to navigate, providing drop-down tables
that define various codes, implementing rules-based
selection of data codes, and allowing access to other
systems without exiting the planning system.

PPG
Industries
MitemView enabled PPG to collapse several mainframe
screens into one graphical screen. Absolutely no software
was installed on the PPG mainframe. Once the conceptual
design was completed, a single programmer using Visual
Basic and the MitemView tools created the interface
to the Millennium system.

Regional and Community eFinance Solutions Group
Since its
integration into the S1 Internet Banking System, MitemView
has helped to improve the stability of the Internet
Banking System's real-time interfaces to core vendor
solutions including Aurum Miser, CSI, FIS Orlando, Argenta,
Kirchman, First Integrated Systems Omaha, and CBS Fiserv.
By utilizing the MitemView framework as a generic
tool for creating real-time links, S1 has greatly reduced
programming time.

Swiss Life expands
MitemView's role from "interim" desktop solution
to a full infrastructure deployment. The initial desktop
MitemView solution proved to be startling to Swiss Life
for several reasons: it was deployed quickly, it was
extremely cost effective, and it out-performed the BEA
Tuxedo infrastructure solution. For these reasons, MitemView
was elevated from a desktop deployment to an infrastructure
solution.

In order to

and effectiveness of internal Bank processes, senior
Banca IMI management recognized that account information
would have to be provided to their institutional clients
in real-time, via a secure on-line medium, such as the
World Wide Web. MitemView helped provide the

Mortgage
Norwest needed
a solution which could resolve duplicate loan numbers
so they could provide complete customer service support
to any customer from any call center. In addition, they
wanted to impose consistent practices for all 140 CSRs
across the 7 regional service centers whilst substantially

service operations.
